The Diffused Boundaries.

In the  Great Beginning, there was zero time and space.

The Big Bang occorred.

The Primordial Energy got  bursted.

The quantised energy packets started to move in varied speeds depending upon their  new locations.

The energy quanta started colliding.

The 'cause and effect' or 'action and reaction' chain had the beginning.

The natural elements were synthesised from the elementary  sub atomic particles i.e. quarks, elestrons, gluons etc.

The forces of gravity, electromagnetism, weak and strong nuclear forces that evolved concurrently keep driving the chain of 'action and reactions' unabated.

We have atoms, compounds, substances and all the manifested components of nature. They assume  solid, liquid and gaseous phases depending upon the temperature or motion of the particles. The antropy or 'disorder' of the system tends to be maximum.

The unique assembly of life  cells appears at some suitable places and times in the universe. Our  4.6 billion years old  planet earth is blessed with life forms about three billion years ago.The gradual cycle of 'variations', 'mutations' and the "survival of the fittest" carried forward the march of 'evolution' further.

We have the human species today as we see it.It has civilisational history of about ten thousand years only.

We are enjoying the developments in the fields of physical sciences, life sciences , sociology and humanities.

The 'Primordial Energy' that got bursted at the Big Bang is manifesting itself in different forms like heat, sound, electricity, magnetism, radiations including light, potential, kinetic and chemical energies and even as 'matter'.

The  different forms of this energy are interconvetible and indestructible.

Some physicists predict the Big Crunch eventually when every thing will confine back to zero time and space.

Thus, for having proper perspective of the universe  and all its processes, one has to draw mental boundaries. They are diffused without clearcut sharpness but essencial to comprehend the enormity of  variety and form.We are part of "quantum soup" that is highly dynamic and our consciousness and awareness  is the product of the same. Its boundaries must be  recognised howsoever dynamic the system is.Because otherwise life may not make much sense.

The Power of Appreciation

The human psychology is emerging as the ultimate science. Our perceptions define the parameters of all other sciences. The working of mind  in terms of its physics and chemistry are very complex and even after much headway having been  made in physical sciences, the  knowledge  regarding working of minds and synthesis of behavioural patterns is still in the infancy.

The appreciation of an individual's work and thinking by others around him plays a catalytic role in  shaping one's behaviour for the posterity. The 'appreciation' may be local, verbal, gestural to the  levels of awards, honours and recognitions in many other forms.

It works both at 'individual' level as well as at society scale.

While appreciating an individual for his creativity, you are encouraging him to pursue his mission further. One can be selective in appreciation for synthesising particular desired  behaviour in a person.

Though sycophancy and hypocrisy traits are also the outcome of deliberate false apprecitions, if proper care is taken by the honest teachers, one can make good use of this technique in moulding and shaping the psyche of children for the good of the society. One has to be vigilent about the misuse of this  method for induced indoctrinations carried out by the vested interests to further their own nafarious objectives. The democratic state can ensure that this is not misused to misguide the young minds by the unscrouplous elements.

So, learn to appreciate to synthesise friendly patterns around yourself.

Science and Religion

The religions in the ancient times were  the founders of scientific thoughts. There was no distinction between  religious reasoning and the  known scientific  facts at those times. As the content of knowledge grew, there were specialisations and classification of knowledge. The  science became too  complex and got divided into many streams and specialities of its own and the religions could not cope with the deductive and inductive knowledge that started pouring in  from different quarters  at different times..Even scientists started finding it difficult to follow the knowledge generated in the sister fields of specialisations..The philosophers are still struggling to integrate the practical knowledge for the welfare of the society.

The religions and sciences have drifted farther apart. The 'reality' perceived by scientists and the theologians is considerably different from eachother. The astronomy, physics and chemistry  have different perceptions of the reality of the universe than what most religions hold true.

Time has come when concepts of matter, energy, cosmic processes and principles of biology must be  attended to only by the concerned  scientists of the fields and the religious unstitutions must concern only with the  human virtues and changing values.

The theologians  would make themselves objects of laufhing  stock if meddling with the advanced scientific  factsof science.Likewise, different specialists of particular field of science would not do justice with the matters of ethics, human virtues and changing human values in space and time.

When mixed together, the people atlarge get confused and fail to  harvest maximum benefits from the advances in science on the one hand and their  spiritual persuits on the other.

The scientists and the godmen will do immense service to the society if they learn to stick to their own areas of inquiry and work.

Me and Happiness

Me and Happiness are synonyms.

The sadness and I are antonyms.

These are my prayers as well as  my philosophy.

THE VISION

                   THE VISION

The vision is a sensation in the form of ‘image’ in the mind resulting from the  light intercepted by the eye tissue, called retina, and converting  into electronic and chemical signals in the nerve fiber and  the brain respectively. The light energy is converted to chemical energy and stored as the memory in the brain.

When one recalls particular scene through the process of thinking, the  image appears in the brain; or the functional part called ‘mind’. Most animal systems have well evolved eyes that are capable of intercepting light, or even other wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum, and produce mental images for their preying and protective functions. The visual memory in human beings constitutes the major fraction of the total memory available for storage and retrieval.

The memories of sound, smell, touch and taste are normally complementary to the visual memory in humans and most other mammals. In other animals, the vision may be complementary to other forms of memory. Some may have predominance of sonic memory while others may have touch, smell or taste as the dominant ones, depending upon the evolutionary relative strengths of their respective sensory organs.

The eyes in the humans are normally well protected, rugged and last for life time. There are few cases of blindness by birth or inherited low vision. Some cases of low vision and blindness could be seen in the people that are acquired during one’s life time due to many reasons. These become serious handicaps for the performance of the concerned individual.

The visually challenged persons have to depend more on the other senses than their eyes. They have to manage with reduced choices of their vocations and compromise with their quality and content of performance. Here again tremendous differences exist between the  blinds by birth and those acquiring later in the life as also  among the  persons having different degrees of ‘low vision’.

To face the challenges boldly and gracefully, such persons must make best use of whatever vision they have or develop other faculties if they are totally blind. There are many tools available these days that facilitate learning and performance of such challenged persons. There are specific institutions and scripts and other high tech tools available. The optics and computer aided systems have also been developed that enhance the efficiency of such persons. Many ‘low vision aid’ centers provide specialized services to such individuals.

The people suffering with low vision have more opportunity to look with in.

Envisioning doesn’t require vision.

The real visionaries don’t make much use of   vision of their eyes.

The blind visionary may have sharper vision than one with eyes.

The foresight doesn’t require sight.

The Thoughts

THE THOUGHTS

What are thoughts?

Like any material object, the thoughts also float around us in different forms. They may be present in a piece of writing, a work of art, in o composition of song and music or a speech being heard. Our mind encounters these thoughts and perceive through our sensory organs. Most thoughts are generated internally in our minds following the inputs of external stimuli as also spontaneously due to the interaction of internally stored thoughts and memories of past.

Just as we develop tastes and habits for discriminating the food, smells, sounds, touch sensations and visual sights, the thoughts are also liked and disliked differently by different people. We are selective in accepting or rejecting the thoughts. The thoughts are in fact interaction products of experiences stored as memory earlier and also with those   of the experiences of others floating around. The memory is in chemical form but the interacting thoughts from outside, fed through the sensory organs, may also be in other energy forms and only later converted to chemical forms in the mind. The thoughts therefore appear to be chemically generated and stored in the mental system. Thus, the generation of new thoughts from within is the outcome of chemical reactions taking place among the previously stored as well as  those fed from outside. The exact nature of these chemical reactions is yet to be deciphered but it looks similar to the synthesis and retrieval of memory. That is just a small change in the molecules driven by electronic signals through the nerve tissues. When awake, the thoughts floating around are selectively picked up depending upon the previous conditioning due to stored thoughts in the brain. The mechanism of discrimination by taste and habit applies here as well. The neuronic pathways are created which is semi permanent to permanent in nature. When asleep, normally stored thoughts only participate in the fresh generation of thoughts. The dreaming is result of that only. Some types of meditation and other clue to the tendency of friendships among likeminded people, the liking and disliking of particular types of reading materials and appreciation of works of arts, the content and nature of dreaming, differences self reflective mechanisms also make use of stored thoughts only even when one is otherwise totally awake..

This provides among people of different age groups regarding their receptivity to new thoughts, commonality of thinking among the people of identical faith, race, caste, region, profession etc. The thoughts stored in minds of the people, thus move around through different vehicles (written and spoken words and languages, works of arts, events.) and interact freely among themselves in the universe. Being largely in the electronic and chemical forms, they keep guiding the affairs of the body individually and the society collectively.

Since we are sure that thoughts are generated in the biological systems alone, we don’t think that such types of chemical reactions are occurring outside the biological world. Even in the biological world, the complexities of such reactions differ a lot in their content, intensity and nature in different species or, even, within a species. The human mind are supposed to be the most complex in this respect and bio-evolution hasn’t ended here. Setting human mind parameters as our limits therefore, we could examine the working of these universal reactions in a shorter niche of space and time frame.

The birth of our individual consciousness is the beginning of generation and access of outside thoughts for us. Being chemical phenomena, they are subject to follow the laws of chemidtry. The physical and chemical stimuli affect these reactions in different ways. They are very low energy reactions and only millionth part of a volt may be required to drive them. The food, drugs, narcotics, poisons and the physical forces like heat, light, sound, electricity and pressure affect the thought processes of the individuals. This indicates both the vulnerability as well as the amenability of these processes to be manipulated positively. The thoughts are therefore subject to inspiration and manipulation. Young minds are more receptive and therefore their exposure to inspiring thoughts is going to be more helpful for the society. This emphasizes the importance of school education and its quality in building the desired positive traits in the people. The wicked minds often misuse this fact to indoctrinate the gullible youth to serve their ulterior motives. The extremists of different kinds are born out of this practice.

The intellectuals can develop proper educational materials that inspire not only the young but all sections of the people. Cultivation of thoughts is a great challenge for these people in service of the humanity. Their efforts are not likely to go waste. The thoughts are bound to strike at many places and even if some find the proper place, the catalytic effect would take care of the rest. The thoughts that are fittest in the evolutionary sense are bound to survive.

The thoughts recorded elsewhere in the minds of others or, in the written, audio-visual, artistic works or in the form of monuments etc., remain long depending upon their quality, much after the death of an individual. A SINGLE BIT OF CHEMICAL TWIST IN THE MIND, REPRESENTING THOUGHT, MAY REMAIN IN THE UNIVERSE MUCH AFTER TRANSCENDING INDIVIDUAL’S DEATH. Some call it ‘immortality’. It is, in fact, the ‘immortality’ component of ‘mortal’ consciousness. Enough food for thought for the present!

The Famous

  THE FAMOUS

The persons, places and events get fame when they strike the minds of a large section of population .The reasons to such striking effects may be pleasurable or painful. One may be famous for good reasons or bad ones. The places and events  may be famous for being extremely away from the average on both sides i.e. very small and very big, very short and very tall, very light and very heavy, highly devastating, extremely beneficial, exceptionally rare, beautiful, ugly, costly and precious etc.

The good fame can be earned by the artists, leaders, scientists, writers, martyrs, freedom fighters, sportsmen, social workers, businessmen, administrators etc when they excel in their respective fields of work and/or demonstrate extra-ordinary, rare, super-natural or “miraculous” conduct.

The famous for the wrong reasons may include dictators, exploiters, tyrants and many such evil doers who shake the minds of a large number of people.

Much fame is short lived while some last long.

The famous personalities may be consumption type celebrities who stand forgotten after serving with their entertaining skills or they may be durable and inspiring that remain in different forms for generations.

The strong desire for fame originates from the notion of immortality and urge to live longer and transcend death. The fame is interpreted as synonymous to immortality. The urges  of remaining perpetually creative, procreative, alive and earning fame are very strong, natural, basic, evolutionary and interrelated. They practically survive in human beings through out their lives.

The fame may be earned by deliberate action or it may be circumstantial. Both factors may also work in complementary or synergistic modes as well. The famous personalities, places and events are more inspiring than the non-famous ones.

The mass-media acts as catalyst towards the march of fame for any person, place or event. The access to media may be by chance, choice or both. The competition purifies the genuineness of the fame.

The God

The God is a concept.

God is the product of human mind, by the human mind and for the human mind.

As many minds, so many concepts of God.

There is no unanimously accepted definition of God.

The interpretations of the soul, spirit, self, Supreme, consciousness and God keep changing in space and time. There is, therefore, always  scope for improvement in them.

Time has come when some of these important issues are debated, improved and re-written .

No God has ever closed the doors for  fresh  enquiry for the sake of Truth. The  science is the  human tool to assist mankind search this Truth.Open mindedness is the essence of scientific methodology.Nothing is beyond logic , reason and Truth.

The human mind is continuously striving to grab the parts of Infinite Truth. The God is no exception to this.

FEAR OF DEATH

The life and death are cyclic in nature. That means when there is life, the death is certain and inevitable.

In fact, the very property of ‘life’ is such that it awaits death as soon as it takes shape of living entity. The assembly of bio-entities during the process of evolution entails continuity of the genetic material from generation to generation shedding the old bodies and seeding of the new ones. The perpetuation of species never entails immortality of bodies but, the bodies have to make their seeds in the form of pollen grains, sperms, spores, ova and  such other structures and produce  seeds for the new bodies. If an entity fails to do so for any reason, the genetic continuity for that individual is broken. Recent bio-technology is making it possible to have vegetative propagation in animal kingdom also including human beings. Then also the old body will disappear and selected cells will create new bodies of their own. Here, the sexual reproduction would be bypassed but the parent body has got to be dismantled in due course of time. This is neither rebirth nor reincarnation.

Such a cycle of life and death continues unabated as long as conditions favor for the genetic material to express itself. If conditions become unfavorable for a particular genetic material, say species, the extinction of the same occurs. Alternatively, the genetic material may undergo favorable adaptation and transform itself in to a new species.

The life span of every biological cell and the body possessing it is genetically programmed. The imminent death is stipulated and the body physiology expresses itself accordingly. The psychology of human beings being part of the physiology also adjusts itself as per the stage of life.

The fear of death is the very essence of life. This sense of fear teaches the ‘life’ to protect itself from adversities and dangers .It teaches the ‘life’ how to discriminate between ‘good’ and ‘bad’. The ‘fight’ or ‘flee’ decision by the living systems owes its origin to this ‘fear’ alone. The strength of this fear guarantees the longevity of an individual. Those devoid of this fear or having very little of it, die early and prematurely. Thus the  fear of  death is natural and evolutionary in origin and  determines the  success or failure of an individual to enjoy the  biologically slated  life span or not.

One has to naturally fear death but shouldn’t be afraid of it. The fear shouldn’t be accompanied by cowardice but with courage. One has to struggle to survive as mandated by the biology. If fear accompanies cowardice, one is bound to die early either due to defeat or due to suicide. Thus it is mandatory for survival that fears of death must be necessarily associated with courage, hope and conviction to beat the reasons for premature death. Driven by this spirit of survival, one builds safe houses, eats healthy and nutritious food, fights diseases, avoids hostility, cultivates friendships and pursues everything that enhances the chances of his long and happy life. The circumstances and capacities of persons differ a lot in this respect and so also their chances of normal or premature deaths.

Thus emotion of natural and evolutionary fear of death shouldn’t be taken as something symbol of weakness but must be adored with courage, caution and creating conditions that prepares one to successfully fight out the situations as they arise. The fear provides the keys to prolong the life. The fear of death means love of life. This is the property of ‘life’ and applies equally to all the species of organisms on earth, be it unicellular amoeba, a worm, a reptile, a lion, an elephant or human being.

Fearing death means loving life. Both are universal emotions evolved in nature that have advanced the march of evolution thus far. So much so that the origin of concepts of re-birth and re-incarnation could be traced in these emotions. Both these emotions are the faces of the same coin. If you love life that means automatically you fear death.

At whatever age I die, the death is going to be pre-mature for me. Others may judge it from a different perspective. The liabilities, responsibilities and concern for the society change with one’s age. The perception of life and death also undergo change with advancing age but not the will to survive and live forever. The concept of immortality of ‘soul’ arises from this inherent will. People innocently tend to believe that their ‘death’ cannot snatch their ‘identity’ and something like their ‘soul’ would transcend death. They think that their ‘souls’ will assume new bodies and their ‘identities’ restored in other bodies. The science hasn’t proved this to be true so far. The matter and energy if the individual bodies are dissipated so thoroughly in the universe, after death, those probabilities of their identical assemblage are practically ‘nil’. All elements and energies of the body find their places in numerous other living and non-living entities of nature, again in a dynamic way. The imprints or footprints of the individual may, however, survive for different periods of time reminding the posterity of his existence. These may be in the form of genetic template left behind in the progenies, thoughts in the minds of people around in the form of memory and the reminders of his creative works stored in different forms. They may be termed as ‘immortal’ in a part of ‘time’ and ‘space’ of the universe.

Another interpretation to ‘immortality’ is related to the immortality of the Primordial Energy of the Universe of which all the energies and matter including our bodies are mere manifestation. But this does not recognize the personal identity of an individual or his ‘soul’. One could view this as the loss (death) of identity of a water drop when it meets the ocean. The ‘drop’ lost its identity forever but the water molecules remain part of the ocean. The ‘identity’ of that particular drop of water can never be restored. All other present and future drops would be always different. Some would call this water drop ‘immortal’ because, though losing identity, it never lost its water molecules that got dissipated in the ocean. Here, water molecules are akin to ‘soul’, or the quanta, energy packets   or bits of Primordial energy and the ‘drop’ as body and the ocean as “quantum soup” of Primordial Energy. If one considers that ‘soul ‘ and ‘body’ are one and not separate entities, then  portions of small aggregates of water molecules and the large aggregate, the drop, may be taken as identical. Then, we have water molecules and the ocean as parallel to the energy quanta and the whole of Primordial Energy respectively. All the different elements of nature including human body and mind are simply manifestation of the portions of the Unified Field of Primordial Energy. The “portions” of this Energy keep changing while the sum of quanta remains the same in the Universe. There is change in the form only and the parent energy is never destroyed. The individual identity is ‘mortal’ but the parent substance remains ‘immortal’.

Obviously the death and destruction of the body is loss of identity and not the disappearance of the elements of which it is made of. The cycles of life and death, therefore, are part of dynamic nature of energy transformations taking place in the Universe. The consciousness of ours is part of this dynamic system. The element of fear of death is inherent in the dynamism of the consciousness itself. The fear of death postpones the onset of death. It is inherent protection for the consciousness to retain its identity for long.

Historically, the words like ‘soul’, ‘spirit’, ‘consciousness’, ‘awareness’, ‘self’, ‘Supreme’, ‘mind’, ‘intellect’, ‘Supreme Being’ and even the “God” have been used  by the  human beings to explain the intricacies of the functioning of nature in relation to themselves and the  environment surrounding them. The input of scientific thoughts in different measures in various civilizations has kept the meanings of these words changing. The details and interpretations, therefore, cannot be expected to be identical. The astounding developments in physics  during the last couple of centuries, particularly the discovery that matter and energy are inter-convertible and all the  facets of nature and its phenomena are simply interactions of packets of  parent energy, called quanta, has drastically changed our perceptions of the world including human behavior , cosmic processes, working of physical, chemical and biological entities etc.Accordingly, the meanings of these original words are undergoing  drastic changes and the vocabulary of theology is getting more and more scientific the world over. So are the concept of mortality, immortality, death and life itself.

HAPPY,HEALTHY ,HUNDRED

Everyone aspires for long life, happy life and healthy life.

The life span of every species is genetically programmed. The human species  has about hundred years.Any extra is a bonus. In future scientists hope to prolong it as the knowledge of cellular biology increases.

Those who are serious may  target seriously to live for hundred years. To fulfill that target they must strive to love their bodies.Love of ones body entails good thoughts, happy feeling, healthy food and proper exercise.

The mind acts as switch for  generation of thoughts. The nature of thoughts determines the type and amounts of hormones and other biochemicals  released in the body. The thoughts are actually switches to order the chain of manufacturing  biochemicals in the body. The evolution  has gifted every individual to choose between the positive and negative thoughts.Choose the  desired thoughts as per your target. We must not  desire disease; and if it happens, must desire  the power to fight the same.Auto-suggestion works very well in this regard. When  one starts of having deliberate thoughts of wellness, the biochemistry of the body takes over to complete the job. Thus feeling happy, well , positive and optimist is related to biochemical chain of reactions and one normally achieves the wellness.

The food must be just enough and  over consumption must be avoided.Normally one tends to eat more.Healthy natural foods, fruits and vegetables must be prefered.Only moderate drinking  should be made a habit. The smoking, narcotics and drugs must be avoided. The addiction of even good things must be  fought with strong mindset. The range of food and digestive enzymes is very large and shouldn't pose problem in selecting a healthy, tasty and nutritious diet.

The exercises are as essential as the proper food. The animal physiology that we possess is not meant for sedentary life style. With technical tools available with us, we have a excessive leisure and  passive work places. To keep the circulatory system  healthy, one has to exert physically also. Selection of  good exercises and including them in our daily routine will go a long way in keeping us healthy. The stress relieving meditation and yogic practices give good results.

Be  serious about your target 100.The  bio-evolutionary forces will certainly help you achieve your target.Though, cosmic, climatic, geologic, patho-biotic and unforeseen accidents are not in your hands, but they are very rare and some of them could be avoided taking  advance care whereever possible. The worry on that score is avoidable to enhance the chances of meeting one's  target 100.a perpetual happy  and friendly disposition is very helpful. The prolonged  depression, negative thoughts and imaginary worries biochemically poison the body and  retard the life expectancy.

Our mindset is very important. We must have strong conviction to win the race.Subject to biological elasticity, we have every chance to win if  we decide so.Always remember your motto of; HAPPY, HEALTHY, HUNDRED.
